When I hear someone so positive about one way to live your life, I run. The Holy Spirit speaks to each of us in a way we can understand, but not everybody else would. You’re quoting some of my favorite obscure writers! Also: for all of us Enneagram 9’s who wonder if our mediating presence matter, who wonder if our polite objection to narcissism or bigotry matters, I hear you saying, yes, we must find our way to resist, even if we don’t think it matters. We may end up being complicit in some way, but our conscience will know if we did what we could.
